A: Absolutely! Today, most saddles are manufactured. If you want a good, high quality saddle, have it custom handmade. You and your horse will feel the difference.
Q: Is there a way to make my existing saddle fit my horse?
A: The answer is sometimes - I can rebuild the saddle tree in an existing saddle. But this depends on the existing tree. Not all saddle trees are able to be fixed.
Q: Do you do saddle fitting?
A: Yes, you are welcome to schedule a time for me to come with saddle trees to do a custom fitting for your horse.
Q: Do you do repairs?
A: Yes, I do all kinds of saddle and tack repairs.
Q: What materials are your saddle trees constructed of?
A: All I use are wood trees wrapped in rawhide.
Q: What type of leather and other materials do you use for your saddles?
A: I only use quality materials in my saddles, such as, Top Grade Herman Oak Leather
and 100% real sheepskin wool.
Non-rust riggings are hand poured brass, which is time tested for strength by Bork.
Q: What style of saddles do you make:
A: I make every style of saddle. This includes saddles for the recreational rider to the working cowboy, to event/show saddles, trophy saddles and collector saddles.
Q: What is the cost of a custom saddle?
A: Saddles start at $3,750 to $4,500 depending which saddle tree is selected. Then the time and the cost will vary with the amount of design, tooling and silver the customer wants.
Q: Do you have used saddles for sale?
A: Used saddles are available occasionally. New saddles are usually available. Both used and new saddles can be viewed on the "Saddles new/used" page.
Q: Do you ship saddles for those who don’t live close?
A: Yes, I ship saddles all over North America.
